Holiday photos

So I wasn't very good about keeping you updated with photos around the holidays. Here are some for you all to enjoy.

Christmas time is my favorite time of year: I love the snow, the decorations, the food, getting together with friends and celebrating with family. One of the best things is our yearly party with friends that James has been close with for over 15 years. The food and drinks are tasty and this year was extra special because we had a stunning flower arrangement from Fleurs de France and a elaborate and delectable cake from White Flower Cake Shoppe. Check them out:

The other fun part was a homemade photobooth. At first our friends were a little shy but as the night progressed, they relaxed in front of the camera.

Here's James demonstrating the step needed to take the photo

I am thinking of doing this at weddings this summer. Do you think guests would enjoy it? What is it about a camera and making goofy faces even when you are no longer a kid?

You guys are quick to respond. That's great! I realized I totally forgot a shot of the tree but that's alright since it's the same every year.

I'm looking forward to doing the photobooth this summer with some couples. I even have some fun posing ideas.

Absolutely love the photobooth idea - if you need a wedding to test it out, we'd love to be your guinea pigs on May 31st! Also, love your holiday photos...looks like a great party.

I would get married all over again just to do the photo booth idea. Love it!

ooh comments, I love comments! Thanks Kara and Alyssa.

Nice of you to offer being a guinea pig, Kara. We might take you up on it but try with another wedding before hand. I have lots of fun posing ideas too.

Sorry Alyssa :( we didn't have it for your wedding.

I love the idea of a photo booth. We did a photo guest book (until the camera died!) and I still enjoy looking back at these fun photos from our day.
